The 4th Annual Faculty Musical:
Elf, Jr!

This year's Faculty Musical will be Elf, Jr, which is adapted from the movie starring Will Ferrell .

Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

The two performances will be in the Auditorium

Tickets now on sale! All tickets are $5 each.

Here are some notes regarding younger children attending this performance:

After-school supervision and pickup

  • While this is a family friendly show, and is open to children, please note that there is no additional supervision for students after the normal school day ends.

  • Any student Grade 8 and under that does not have an after school activity must be picked up by a parent at 3pm, as usual. The only other option for them to stay on campus is if they are already enrolled in an afterschool activity.

  • The line for TraceTogether Check in and admission into the Auditorium will begin at 4pm on the Middle School bridge to the Riady Performing Arts Center foyer.

After-school buses

  • The buses are running on a normal schedule. The show is scheduled to end approximately at 6pm, which provides time for students to ride the 6:15 bus, provided there are seats available.

Can students attend alone? Can parents attend with students?

  • As per NAC guidelines, unvaccinated guests aged 12 & under must sit with someone from their household. Parents are welcome to sit with their children.

  • There are no longer specific family zones, so groups are free to sit wherever they would like.

  • Please note that you will need to select seats next to each other on the seating map for the event.

MS Drama presents:
The Internet is Distract--OH LOOK A KITTEN!

Micah only has twenty minutes to finish her paper on The Great Gatsby She just needs to check a few facts on the internet first. Unfortunately, the web is a nefariously wacky place where boxing cats, Facebook lurkers, and pig-throwing games threaten to take over Micah's schoolwork, or worse. Will she finish her paper and escape with her life before the school bell rings? A high-octane comedy that explores the rabbit hole of distraction we all go down every time we go online.
